Assignment #9: If I had $100

Hello Bloggers! The past week we've been talking about how grateful we are and how we are very fortunate to live in a place like Canada. Unfortunately, others weren't so lucky. My class has decided to take action and help them. My teacher gave me $100 to spend in one of these organizations(Oxfam, World Vision, Salvation Army, or Plan Canada). I decided to go with Oxfam. They have the cheapest gifts and a wide variety, work world wide and are the most trusted. I partnered up with some of my friends which gave us a total of $400. We bought goats($116) for cheese and milk. A sheep($52) for meat and clothes. A flock of chickens($90) for eggs and meat, and a donkey($120) for food or labor. We also got clean, easy accessible water($20) for them as well. We gave water because most people have to walk very far to get water and most of the time it's not very clean or safe. We decided to give mostly livestock becuase livestock are very useful becuase you get food, clothes, and you get some labor with the donkey. This is why we chose them.
